Sometimes people don’t enter your life in the same capacity as you would have liked. Maybe that person who was meant to be your best friend is 50 years older and your neighbour. Of course you can still interact and be friends but it will not be in the same way. Maybe that man you work with would have been your soul mate but he is a decade older and happily married. Despite that, these people have crossed paths with you. Your energies have interacted. How beautiful it is to know these people in some form or way. To vibe with them. To have them add something so earnest and wholesome to your life even if in a subtle way. I won’t ever send him red heart emojis but I’ll always still be smiling when we text. Even if it’s about work. I’ll never go out and have beer with my neighbour and dance to kpop but I will stop by and wave every evening when she sits on her balcony. And I think that’s enough. Meeting people you’re meant to in life is rare. So I’ll accept it. I’ll take this. I’ll look at the brightside. Our souls our old. We must have known each other in some other capacity in the past. Just like in the future we may come across each other and have a whole different kind of relationship. I may sound crazy when I say this, I feel slightly crazy even as I type this. But. But. I do believe we are more than just the chemical reactions in our brains. And these emotions I have for you are more than just base and fleeting. They have been etched in the universe long before. The things I cannot explain are the things I feel the most intensely. This is one of them. You are one of them.

how people do things and handle situations is who they are.
You have to trust that there will be people who won’t abandon you. You have to believe that you are deserving. You have to fight your trigger/patterns by knowing what they are and where they came from. You have to forgive yourself for not knowing any better. Accept your underlying fear of abandonment and powerlessness. Try to take deep breaths when you‘re overwhelmed by your emotions. Do your best to withhold your subconscious need to control. Allow yourself to be in the Now. And trust that you can deal with the outcome, no matter what.
